It just makes sense...

Today's economy has sent many working class people into a veritable panic. That corporate job that once seemed so profitable with an inevitable yearly raise or bonus has been a no-show this year, production levels and everything from fuel to food keeps getting more expensive!

The incredible reality is that while corporations are struggling to stay afloat, many companies with direct selling or network marketing are absolutely flourishing! These associates are not concerned with the rising cost of fuel because they haven't seen a cut in their income, they've seen a raise! Why is that, you ask? They control their effort which directly controls their own income! This economic time is the perfect setting for recruiting because everyone wants to find a way to make more money!

Think about it this way, in the corporate world, you will be getting paid the same salary for the year if you come to work everyday and complete your tasks. You may be blessed with a generous company or boss that gives you a raise or an occasional bonus...however, that is completely their decision based on company numbers as well as the economic shift...many may go from having a nice bonus to being laid off the next month with the huge downsizing that is currently occurring in Corporate America...you may not be getting a company check anymore but that car you're driving still needs to be paid and so do those credit card bills!


In network marketing, you are working for yourself and determining your own income! The only decision maker for your financial future will be you -- no more asking others for raises and hoping they will understand and identify with your reasons for needing one...

The sad and cold truth is that many companies, bosses, "powers that be", etc. do not really care why you may want or need a raise...they just see more money coming out of the company to cover this expense. Why do you want to put control of your financial future in the hands of someone else??

Quoting best-selling financial author, Robert Allen: "If you saw a car
load of your family, friends and anybody else heading towards a bridge
that is washed out, would you let them keep going, or would you tell them about
the path they don't know about where the bridge is still there (and twice the
size of the first)?"

This is directly related to an earlier entry in why seasoned network marketers understand that we don't need prospects, they need us! They need to be told that there is an alternative to the way of living and working in Corporate America where complete financial insecurity can ensue at any moment.

So, the next time you feel hesitant in sharing your opportunity with a friend, remember, you are doing them a favor -- you are giving them information to empower them and an opportunity that can help them reap the rewards for years to come!
